Answer: Could you please send an email direct to info@health.org.au with your name and email address so we can sort this out for you.

Free e-recipe book

Question: I am a member. How do I get the free e-recipe book?
Answer: To receive the free e-recipe book, you simply need to renew your membership online through our website when your renewal falls due.

Magazine frequency

Question: When does the next magazine come out?
Answer: The magazine comes out four times a year at the start of each season eg the Spring 2010 magazine was printed in the first week of September 2010 to be received by members in the second week of September.

Cataracts

Question: I am a member of NHS since about Sept.2008 and would like some information about the prevention and treament of Cataracts. How may I receive/purchase previous articles as well as the latest informetion on this subject?
Answer: We had the full story on cataracts and gluacoma in the Spring 2001 issue of New Vegetarian and Natural Life. This issue of the magazine is no longer available. However, if you would like a photocopy of the page article, please phone us and we can arrange to send it out to you for a cost of $2.

Washing fruit & vegetables.

Question: What is your recommendation for washing fruit and vegetables?
Answer: Fruit & vegetables should be washed in a gentle, non-toxic cleanser. The NHS recommends using the Tri Nature washing up cleanserm Chamomile Herbal Organic Concentrate, as it removes pesticides from fruit and veggies without leaving any toxic residue. As with all Tri Nature products, Chamomile is plant and mineral based, contains no animal ingredients, petro-chemicals or other harsh substances, and has not been tested on animals. Answer: The price of the ReboundOz includes postage Australia-wide. Therefore, the total cost to members is $265.00 and the total cost to non-members is $285.00

Hopewood Discounts

Question: Are there any discounts for accommodation at Hopewood for members of the Natural Health Society?I am a member of the Vegetarian Society - can I also join the NHS on the same join form (at present think need to make choice - please give option to join both).Andrew Freemanafreeman@pcug.org.au
Answer: Unfortunately, there are no discounts available for NHS members at Hopewood Health Retreat. Like the NHS, Hopewood is a not-for-profit organisation. It strives to keep its prices as low as possible, while still being able to offer a high standard of care and ensuring its future operation.

Question: I am a member of the Natural Health Society, but I don’t have my ID number. How do I get my number?
Answer: Send us an email at info@health.org.au or phone 02 4721 5068 and we will advise you of your ID number.

Member Login

Question: I am a member of the NHS and want to log in as a member to get my members’ prices and access to all articles. What do I have to do?
Answer: To log in as a member, go to Members on the Home Page and click on Member Log In. In the Member ID, type in your Member ID number. If you have not logged in previously, simply click on recover password. Then type in your Member ID again, your street address and suburb. Click on Submit.You are now able to set your own password. Type in your ID, the password you want to use and retype the password to confirm it. Passwords need to be a minimum of six letters. Type in your email address and an email will be sent back to you automatically confirming your login details. If you have previously logged in, go to Member Login, type in your ID Number and your password, click submit. If you have previously logged in, but have forgotten your password, in Member Login, type in your ID and click on Recover Password.
